My Safe Florida Home Program
PURPOSE:
The proposed rulemaking implements the statutory changes to the My Safe Florida Home Program (Program) made in Chapter 2025-199, Laws of Florida. The rulemaking will enhance the homeowner experience by making the application process for inspections and grants clearer and more user-friendly through updated forms and a revised guide. It also strengthens the quality and clarity of the Program’s inspection report by improving its formatting and educational content. The rule provides information on participant eligibility and improvements that are reimbursable under the Program.
SUMMARY:
This rule will outline the requirements for participation in the My Safe Florida Home Program.
