Surface Water Use Basin Descriptions

PURPOSE:

The South Florida Water Management District (“District”) is proposing to amend Rule 40E-21.691, F.A.C., to add clarifying language that the legal descriptions of the District’s water use basin boundaries listed in Rule 40E-21.631, F.A.C., will be utilized by the Governing Board when issuing a water shortage warning or declaring a water shortage in all or part of the District. The District is not proposing any changes to the legal descriptions of the District’s water use basin boundaries.
