Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Feb. 17, 2026: Online Public Meeting from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 18, 2026: In-Person Public Meeting from 4:30 p.m.to 6 p.m.

Subject:	This public meeting is being held to discuss a proposed median modification on Beach Boulevard (U.S. 90) and Newell Boulevard (FIN 447211-7). To maintain safety and manage access to the proposed site, FDOT proposes the removal of the eastbound left-turn lane onto Newell Boulevard and the closure of the existing median opening. The meeting will begin with an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
