PURPOSE:

To promulgate rules for the development, procurement, maintenance and use of electronic information technology implementing Sections 282.601-.606, Florida Statutes.

SUMMARY:

The Rule Chapter establishes rules for the development, procurement, maintenance and use of electronic information technology. The Rule Chapter provides, technical standards for six categories of technology; functional performance criteria for technology that may not fit in one of the six categories and requirements that address product support documentation in alternative formats. The Rule Chapter also emphasizes these standards apply to all agency information technology procurements and developments.
