	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to an Alternatives Public Information Workshop for the U.S. 92 (Memorial Boulevard) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from Walker Avenue to State Road (S.R.) 33 (Lakeland Hills Boulevard) in Polk County. IN-PERSON OPTION: Wednesday, April 8, 2026 Anytime between 5 -7 p.m. Coleman Bush Building 1104 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Lakeland, FL 33805 This will include a looping video (no formal presentation), and the project team will be available for discussion. LIVE ONLINE OPTION: Register in advance: https://tinyurl.com/US92-MemorialBlvd-Workshop Thursday, April 9, 2026 6 – 7 p.m. This event will include a viewing of the project video and a live question-and-answer component with the project team. Please review the materials on project webpage before attending the virtual event (www.swflroads.com/project/445930-1). Materials will be posted by April 1, 2026. The Alternatives Public Information Workshop is being conducted to present information about the preliminary alternatives and provides the opportunity for the public to express their views about the project. The same materials will be displayed at both the online and in-person events. If you are unable to attend the meeting, comments can also be provided through the project webpage (www.swflroads.com/project/445930-1) or by email (Steven.Andrews@dot.state.fl.us) or mail (FDOT District One, Attn: Steven A. Andrews, 801 N. Broadway Ave. MS 1-40, Bartow, FL 33830). While comments about the project are accepted at any time, they must be received or postmarked by April 22, 2026, to be included in the formal record. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022 and executed by FHWA and FDOT.
