Overview



	The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc. announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	April 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m.

PLACE:	Monticello Opera House, 185 West Washington Street, Monticello, FL 32344

Subject:	The Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc. d/b/a Advantage Aging Solutions has scheduled a Public Hearing: 1. To share information about Older Americans Act supportive services and nutrition programs available to senior adults (60 years of age and older) residing in Jefferson County, Florida. 2. To highlight the coordination of and provision of direct services by the Agency under an emergency waiver since September 2025. Services include screening/assessment for program enrollment, meal services, transportation, recreation, education, and telephone reassurance. 3. To provide the opportunity for public input regarding known or perceived needs and/or interests of seniors and their caregivers in the community.
