PURPOSE:

The purpose is to repeal governance provisions that are better maintained in Council bylaws, interlocal governance documents, and internal procedures, rather than in the Florida Administrative Code. The effect will be removal of these governance provisions from Chapter 29F 1 of the Florida Administrative Code, while continuing to comply with applicable Florida law.

SUMMARY:

ECFRPC proposes to repeal Rules 29F 1.102, 29F 1.108, 29F 1.109, 29F 1.110, 29F 1.111, 29F 1.112, and 29F 1.114. These rules address the Council’s purpose statement and internal governance, including officers and duties, vacancies, removal from office, committees, staff duties, and dissolution related fund distribution.
