64-8.001	Penalties for COVID-19 Vaccine Documentation Requirements
64-8.002	Penalties for Public Employee COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates

PURPOSE:

To repeal Rule 64-8.001, F.A.C. (establishing the process for penalizing businesses, governmental entities, and educational institutions for violating section 381.00316, F.S.), which was nullified by Section 1 of Chapter 2023-43, Laws of Florida; and to repeal Rule 64-8.002, F.A.C. (establishing the process for penalizing governmental and educational entities for violating section 112.0441, F.S.), which was nullified by the repeal of section 112.0441, F.S.

SUMMARY:

The current rules establish the process for assessing penalties for violations by businesses, governmental entities, and educational institutions of section 381.00316, F.S. (prohibiting entities from requiring the public to document COVID-19 vaccination), and violations by governmental and educational entities of section 112.0441, F.S. (prohibiting entities from requiring employees to document COVID-19 vaccination. The proposed rulemaking will repeal nullified rules.
