PURPOSE:

Updates and clarifies initial registration process, separates credit investigation and annual renewal requirements to update and clarify credit reporting requirements, definitions and annual registration renewal procedures, update and clarify professional guardians initial coursework and testing, continuing education requirements, timelines for completion and reporting, provides information on professional guardian monitoring, updates and clarifies fingerprinting and criminal history screening and reporting, provides information on the complaint investigation process and procedures and updates and clarifies disciplinary actions, considerations and guidelines for penalties.
