PURPOSE:

Amendments update the licensing requirements for child-placing agencies to streamline the licensing processes and repeal obsolete rule provisions.

SUMMARY:

Amendments (1) clarifies language, (2) delete obsolete rule provisions, (3) adds administration and organization requirements, (4) adds corrective action plan requirements, (5) adds administrative action requirements, (6) adds requirements regarding grants awarded, (7) adds policies and procedures, (8) updates staff functions and qualifications, (9) updates services to families and children in foster care, (1) adds that child’s case records may be retained electronically, (11)  updates the family case records that shall be retained, (12) updates the adoptive home records that shall be retained, (13) adds that a copy of the accreditation and survey must be submitted to the Department for intercounty adoption services, and (14) incorporates new and amended forms.
