RULE:

63F-15.001

Compliance with Safety in Private Spaces Act

PURPOSE:

The amendment expands the definition of "changing facility" to include youth sleeping rooms in detention centers and residential facilities.  Another amendment deletes an obsolete reporting requirement.

SUMMARY:

The amendment clarifies and updates the rule that implements the Safety in Private Spaces Act (section 553.865, Florida Statutes).
