Conditions for Issuance of Permits

PURPOSE:

The South Florida Water Management District (“District”) proposes to amend Rule 40E-3.301, F.A.C., to require compliance with the proposed Restricted Allocation Areas for the Sandstone aquifer and Mid-Hawthorn aquifer in the “Applicant’s Handbook for Water Use Permit Applications within the South Florida Water Management District,” incorporated by reference in Rule 40E-2.091, F.A.C., prior to receiving a well construction permit. The effect of the amendment is to require applicants to comply with an additional condition for issuance of permits under Chapter 40E-3, F.A.C.
