	The Financial Emergency Board for the Glades County School District and the Union County School District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	May 8, 2026, 9:15 a.m.

Subject:	Pursuant to Section 218.503, Florida Statutes, the Financial Emergency Board for the Glades County School District and the Union County School District will meet on May 8, 2026. The purpose of this emergency meeting is for the Financial Emergency Board to review and discuss information about the finances of the Glades County School District and the Union County School District. An emergency meeting is necessary to obtain board approval for pressing expenditures and personnel actions, and further delay will impede the progress of the districts in resolving the financial emergency under Section 218.403, Florida Statutes. In addition, timely decisions relating to staff reappointments are necessary.
