PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed amendments is to clarify and update procedures related to the inmate grievance process, add new grievance codes, and clean up language. Some of the proposed amendments arise from the 5-year rule review process required by Section 120.5435, Florida Statutes.

The amendments to these rules clarify and update procedures related to the inmate grievance process, add a new grievance code, and clean up language.
