RULE:

64B5-14.001

Definitions

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes the rule amendment to provide a definition of child for purposes of administering anesthesia to a child under this rule chapter.

SUMMARY:

The rule amendment defines a child for purposes of administration of anesthesia as an individual under 18 years of age and any patient that has a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
