	The Florida Department of Commerce (FloridaCommerce) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	FloridaCommerce is seeking a new provider to administer the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in Seminole County. Entities interested in contracting with FloridaCommerce to provide these services should join this public meeting in order to be informed of the application requirements. Selection of a provider will be based on the provider's experience and performance in a broad range of services designed to facilitate economic self-sufficiency for Floridians. The following qualities will be reviewed: (1) the extent to which the provider’s past or current programs achieved, or are achieving, the stated goals in a timely fashion; (2) the quality of work performed by the provider; (3) the number, qualifications, and experience of the staff members of the provider; (4) the ability of the provider to secure and train staff; and (5) maintain compliance with administrative, program and financial management requirements. Only one provider will be funded. The provider must be capable and willing to provide services to all eligible low-income citizens in Seminole County. FloridaCommerce will review the submitted applications and make a decision regarding each applicant’s eligibility to provide LIHEAP services to Seminole County.
