Unfair Discrimination Because of Travel Plans

PURPOSE:

To implement the provisions of recent legislation regarding potentially discriminatory treatment of individuals traveling.

SUBJECT:

Limitations on when an insurer may refuse to issue, renew, or have a different rate for an individual who has previously or plans to travel.
