RULE:

6A-5.065	The Florida Educator Accomplished Practices
6A-5.066	Approval of Teacher Preparation Programs
6A-5.0661	Teacher Preparation Uniform Core Curricula and Courses

PURPOSE:

The purpose is to implement portions of House Bill (HB) 875 from the 2025 legislative session, and provide clarity regarding the Teacher Apprenticeship Program. Rule 6A-5.065, F.A.C., will undergo a comprehensive revision. Rule 6A-5.066, F.A.C., will be amended for uniformity, clarity and to update incorporated forms. Rule 6A-5.0661, F.A.C., will establish criteria to implement the uniform core curricula and core courses for teacher preparation programs, pursuant to s. 1012.551, F.S., as created by HB 875.

SUMMARY:

Rule 6A-5.065, F.A.C., will update the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAP) for instructional evaluations. Rule 6A-5.066, F.A.C., is amended to remove language on Uniform Core Curricula (UCC), and which is in the new Rule 6A-5.0661.
