	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	The Alternatives Public Workshop is scheduled for July 28, 2026 (Virtual), and July 29, 2026 (In-Person), 5:30p.m. The same information will be presented at both the virtual and in-person Alternatives Public Workshop, so attending both is not necessary.

PLACE:	Participants are requested to register in advance for the virtual experience. Please allow adequate log-in time to view the presentation in its entirety. Questions and comments may be submitted via the virtual chat feature during the Open House of the Virtual Meeting. Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual and in-person Alternatives Public Workshop to present information and gather feedback from the public concerning the Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Willoughby Boulevard. The project identification number is 419669-3-22-03. The purpose of this project is to alleviate traffic congestion by connecting Martin County’s roadway network by extending Willoughby Boulevard from its northern terminus at S.R. 714/Monterey Road to S.R. 5/U.S. 1/Federal Highway and safely accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians supporting the community’s transportation needs. At this workshop, project alternatives that complete the northern extension of Willoughby Boulevard from S.R. 714/Monterey Road to U.S. 1 will be presented for you to review and commentupon as we move towards selecting a Preferred Alternative to present at the future Public Hearing.All exhibits presented at the Alternatives Public Workshop can be viewed electronically on the project website https://www.fdot.gov/projects/WilloughbyPDEThe environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project, are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT. Community feedback is at the core of all we do. FDOT works with the public to balance their community vision with the community's transportation needs. This is routine on all our projects to ensure Florida's infrastructure is safe, resilient, and efficient for many years into the future. Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants located within at least 300 feet on either side of the proposed alignment and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals that have expressed interest in the project.
