PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rulemaking is to clarify and update existing rules governing the management of state forests.

SUMMARY:

The proposed amendments update definitions, clarify rules relating to vehicular, animal, and pedestrian control on managed lands including drone usage, clarify rules relating to the protection of managed lands, add a restriction on the use of pre-charged pneumatic air guns, remove form FDACS-11228 from rule, address the harvesting of flowers, seeds, or fruit, refine rules relating to recreational activities and facilities, add a maximum number of nights a camper may stay in a six month period, restrict the use of electric bicycles to specified locations, add off-highway vehicles  to the commercial vendors rule, prescribe a new penalty chart for violations, and add trespass warnings to the penalty rule.
