RULE:

64B5-7.001	Requirements for Approval and Operation of Internship and Residency Programs
64B5-7.005	Teaching Permits

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendments arise from JAPC’s reviews of dentistry rules that were part of the 1st year of the 5-year rule review that state agencies are undergoing.  The changes set forth the effective date of accreditation standards adopted by the board teaching hospitals and eliminates vague open-ended requirements for information required by the Board for obtaining a teaching permit.

SUMMARY:

To update the rule text regarding the issuance of teaching permits.
