	The Florida Elections Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, September 3, 2026, 8:00 a.m. EST, until adjourned.

Subject:	: Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and as requested by legal counsel for the Florida Elections Commission at the Commission’s public meeting held on August 26, 2026, the Florida Elections Commission will hold a litigation shade meeting which will be conducted virtually via Zoom on Thursday. September 3, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. EST or shortly thereafter. The closed attorney-client session is expected to last for one hour. The subject matter of the meeting will be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions relating to litigation expenditures involving the litigation styled: Republican Party of Florida v. Florida Elections Commission, Case No. 3:26-cv-04940-TKW-HTC, pending in the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division. Following commencement of an open meeting, the Florida Elections Commission will move into a closed attorney-client session pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes. Only the following individuals may attend the closed attorney-client session: Florida Elections Commission Members: Joseph Van de Bogart Joni Alexis Poitier Kymberlee Curry-Smith J. Martin Hayes Marva Preston Rick Joyce Patrick Kilbane Tim Vaccaro, Executive Director, Chief Administrative Officer of the Florida Elections Commission Edward A. Tellechea, Office of the Attorney General, Legal Counsel to the Florida Elections Commission Ed Lombard, Lombard Law, Legal Counsel to the Florida Elections Commission Stephanie J. Cunningham, General Counsel to the Florida Elections Commission Court Reporter Following the conclusion of the closed attorney-client session, the Florida Elections Commission will return to the open public meeting.
