Overview



	The Space Florida announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	September 9, 2026, 1:00 p.m. (EDT)

PLACE:	Florida Atlantic University, 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 College of Business Executive Education Building, Room #SF-109

Subject:	The Board of Directors of Space Florida will meet in the workshop to discuss the state of Space Florida and its mission to foster and grow the world-leading aerospace industry in Florida. The workshop will be in the nature of a business "retreat" where Board members can discuss the long-term strategic philosophy and other long-range topics. Notes: 1. No specific actions or votes will be requested of the Board during the workshop. The Board will have a business meeting the next day, at 9:00 a.m. on September 10, 2026, at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, at which time the Board will be asked to vote on Space Florida's business matters. 2. After the workshop, Board members will participate in a reception. No business of Space Florida will be discussed at the reception. The event will not constitute a meeting of the Board. For that reason, the public will not be able to attend the reception.
