PURPOSE:

The Agency intends to update and clarify the rules as part of its Year 2 review under section 120.5435, F.S.

SUBJECT:

Removal of sunset provisions, updating citations to statutory authority in the rule histories, correcting miscellaneous typographical errors, updating Rule 65G-13.005 and the Individual Financial Profile form that is incorporated by reference in Rule 65G-13.004(1) to clarify that supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) funds are not used in calculating the amount of the in-home subsidy, and amending the Room and Board Reimbursement form incorporated by reference in Rule 65G-13.008 to remove the requirement to provide a client’s name and replace it with the requirement to provide the client’s Agency ID number instead. The purpose is to protect client privacy and confidential health information. 45 CFR Parts 160, 162, 164; § 393.13(4)(i)1., Fla. Stat.
