	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Oct. 13, 2026: In-Person Public Meeting from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14, 2026: Online Public Meeting from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

PLACE:	IN PERSON: FDOT Urban Office, 2198 Edison Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32204 ONLINE: NFLroads.com/virtualmeetings

Subject:	On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), I invite you to a hybrid public meeting to discuss the proposed crosswalk on Lane Avenue (State Road 103) just south of Lucente Drive to increase safety for motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, children and other vulnerable users of the corridor. FDOT proposes the following improvements: • Addition of crosswalk • Addition of a concrete median to facilitate construction of the crosswalk The in-person public meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the FDOT Urban Office Training Building located at 2198 Edison Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32204. The meeting will consist of an informal open house from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and a formal presentation and public comment period beginning at 6 p.m. The virtual public meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026. The meeting will consist of an informal open house from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a formal presentation and public comment period beginning at 5:30 p.m. Interested parties may participate online at nflroads.com/virtualmeetings.
