6A-1.09412	Course Requirements - Grades K-12 Basic and Adult Secondary Programs
6A-1.09441	Requirements for Programs and Courses that are Funded Through the Florida Education Finance Program and for Which the Student May Earn Credit Toward High School Graduation

PURPOSE:

These rules are amended to incorporate the course descriptions for new courses into the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” for 2007-2008, and the “2007-2008 Florida Course Descriptions for Grades 6-12/Adult, Basic Education” to include new courses, align teacher certification, and revise the narrative section to reflect recent changes in state laws. The new courses and course descriptions direct school and district personnel by providing the essential content and course requirements for each course in grades 6-12 contained in the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” and ensure consistency and alignment with the Sunshine State Standards.

SUMMARY:

These rules are amended to adopt revisions to the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” and the “2007-2008 Florida Course Descriptions for Grades 6-12/Adult, Basic Education” to include new courses, align teacher certification, and revise the narrative section to reflect recent changes in state laws. The new courses and course descriptions direct school and district personnel by providing the essential content and course requirements for each course in grades 6-12 contained in the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” and ensure consistency and alignment with the Sunshine State Standards.
