Temporary Occupational Licenses

PURPOSE:

Currently, Commission rule authorizes an applicant with no disqualifying conviction to obtain a temporary occupational license. The proposed rulemaking amends the temporary license provisions of Commission rule and the incorporated Form FGCC PMW-3110 Animal Owner Temporary License Application to authorize applicants to obtain a temporary license while their full application is under review by the Commission if they do not have any disqualifying convictions within the preceding ten years of the application date.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rulemaking amends the temporary license provisions of Commission rule to authorize occupational license applicants without any disqualifying convictions in the ten years preceding the application date to obtain a ninety-day temporary license while the Commission reviews the entire three-year occupational license application, updates the incorporated form, corrects typographical errors, and updates statutory citations.
