Business Occupational License Requirements for an Independent Testing Laboratory

PURPOSE:

The proposed rulemaking amends Commission rule to align with the statutory requirements for independent testing laboratories, updates statutory citations, and corrects typographical errors.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rulemaking updates rule 75-14.007(2)(A) to require independent testing laboratories to be licensed, certified to test, or contracted in good standing in ten jurisdictions in accordance with Section 551.102(5)(b), Florida Statutes. Additionally, it will update statutory citations and correct typographical errors.
