Employee Grooming, Uniform and Clothing Requirements

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule is to define authorized facial hair, provide that employees shall notify their supervisors in writing prior to either growing facial hair or removing previously authorized facial hair and require staff to obtain a new staff photo ID within one week of the completion of growing or shaving of authorized facial hair.

SUMMARY:

Amends the rule to define authorized facial hair, provide that employees shall notify their supervisors in writing prior to either growing facial hair or removing previously authorized facial hair and require staff to obtain a new staff photo ID within one week of the completion of growing or shaving of authorized facial hair.
