PURPOSE:

The proposed repeal is consistent with the repeal of section 985.309, Florida Statutes, which statute authorized boot camp programs.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule repeals the remaining sections of the department's rule chapter implementing boot camp programs.  The repealed sections provide definitions, admission criteria and admission procedures for boot camps, establish the behavior management system in such programs, and the use of disciplinary confinement.
