	The Florida Community College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	May 1, 2007, 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. PLACE: Advanced Technology Center, 401 West State Street, Room T-140, Jacksonville, Florida 32202 GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Prosperity Partnerships. REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETING DATE AND TIME: May 1, 2007, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. PLACE: Donald T. Martin Center for College Services, 501 West State Street, Boardroom, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Regular meeting. DISCUSSION OF COLLEGE OPERATIONAL MATTERS, TIME PERMITTING: DATE AND TIME: May 1, 2007, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Subject:	College operational matters. Copies of the agenda for the regular monthly Board meeting will be available for inspection on and after Tuesday, April 24, 2007, and copies will be provided upon written request and the payment of approved duplicating charges. Any person wishing to address agenda items at the Board of Trustees meeting will be provided an opportunity to do so by appearing before the Board at the meeting. All objections to this notice or the propriety of the scheduled public meeting should be filed in writing with the College President, Florida Community College at Jacksonville on or before May 1, 2007. All legal issues should be brought to the College’s attention and an attempt made to resolve them prior to the public meeting. Any person wishing to appeal a decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceeding for such an appeal and may, therefore, need to ensure that a verbatim record is made. Through the months of May and June, 2007, the Board will hold informal meetings each Thursday from 12:00 Noon – 4:00 p.m. at the Donald T. Martin Center for College Services, Room 462, for the purpose of discussing College business as appropriate.
