Medicaid Pending Procedures

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to develop the process by which individuals designated as “Medicaid pending” is completed by the Comprehensive Assessment and Review for Long-Term Care Services (CARES) staff, and the participating diversion providers' contractual responsibilities in serving those individuals.

SUBJECT:

CARES staff and diversion providers’ responsibilities in regards to referral of “Medicaid pending” individuals.
