Performance Standards for Children Participating in the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program (Transferred)

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule is to adopt education standards for children in the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program. The effect of the rule will be the adoption of uniform standards that describe what a four-year-old child should know and be able to do at the end of the VPK Program.

SUMMARY:

The rule provides for the State Board of Education adoption of performance standards for children participating in the VPK Education Program.
