PURPOSE:

The rule is intended to implement standards and requirements described in Section 985.48, F.S., establishing program standards and monitoring for juvenile sexual offender commitment programs.

SUBJECT:

The rule details the elements of a sex offender treatment program, including administration, intake, orientation, safety and security, conditions of confinement, service delivery, program evaluation, and the procedures by which research may be conducted.
