Overview



	The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	The WebBoard will be available for public viewing from July 2, 2007 through October 26, 2007. The WebBoard also will be available for public comment from August 31, 2007 through October 5, 2007 on the Draft 2008 South Florida Environmental Report – Volume I.

Subject:	This website http://www.sfwmd.gov/sfer/ will be used to allow public access to and participation in communications among the chairman and members of the independent peer review panel created to conduct a review of the 2008 South Florida Environmental Report – Volume I, pursuant to Section 373.4592(4)(d), Florida Statutes. Beginning on August 31, 2007, through October 26, 2007, interested parties may access ongoing communications among the peer review panelists, electronically stored communications and other public records associated with the Draft 2008 Report that are posted to this site. Peer review panelists will post information at the website from Monday through Friday during normal working hours, Eastern Daylight Time. The public can provide comment directly at the website at any time between August 31, 2007 through October 5, 2007 on any aspect of the Draft 2008 Report, particularly on relevant scientific or technical data and findings. Communications and documents posted are preserved and can be accessed at anytime after they occur or are posted. The peer review panelists will continue to use the WebBoard for revisions and additions the Draft 2008 Report from October 5, 2007 through delivery of the Panel’s Final Report to the District on October 26, 2007. Peer review and public workshops on the Draft 2008 South Florida Environmental Report – Volume I will be held as follows: DATE & TIME: October 2, 20078:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. October 3, 2007-8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. October 4, 2007-8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (panel working session) LOCATION: South Florida Water Management District, B-1 Auditorium, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33406
