Mental Health Targeted Case Management

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule is to incorporate by reference Update June 2007 to the Florida Medicaid Mental Health Targeted Case Management Coverage and Limitations Handbook, July 2006. The handbook was revised to remove the enrollment requirement for all Medicaid mental health targeted case management providers to have an active contract with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) district or regional office for the location in which the agency will provide services. We also added clarification that only fee-for-service providers must enroll as Medicaid mental health targeted case management providers. The effect will be to incorporate by reference in the rule Update June 2007 to the Florida Medicaid Mental Health Targeted Case Management Coverage and Limitations Handbook.

SUMMARY:

The purpose of this rule is to incorporate by reference Update June 2007 to the Florida Medicaid Mental Health Targeted Case Management Coverage and Limitations Handbook, July 2006. The effect will be to incorporate by reference in the rule Update June 2007 to the Florida Medicaid Mental Health Targeted Case Management Coverage and Limitations Handbook.
