Overview



	The Board of Governors, State University System of Florida: Student Affairs, Performance and Accountability, Research and Economic Development, and Campus Security and Emergency Preparedness announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	September 26, 2007, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PLACE:	1721 Turlington Building, 325 W. Gaines St., Tallahassee, Florida

Subject:	Discussion of Access and Success for Diverse Students; Discussion of a performance funding model; Consideration for approval of BOG Regulations: Rule 6C-6.001, F.A.C., Admissions; Rule 6C-6.002, F.A.C., Entering Freshmen; and Rule 6C-6.009, F.A.C., Admission of Foreign Students to SUS Institutions; Discussion of a Budget issue relating to Graduate Student Support; Discussion of Student Loan Controversy; Discussion of Budget issues relating to the Florida Center for Library Automation, the University Presses of Florida, the Florida Initiative for Global Education, the Florida Institute of Oceanography, and the Distance Learning Initiative; Consideration of notice of BOG regulation on Institutes and Centers; Consideration of repeal of BOG regulation on the Efficiency/Incentive Program; Report on Health Care Counselors; Report on SUS preparedness for pandemics; and other matters related to these Committees of the Board of Governors.
