PURPOSE:

The rule establishes the process and conditions whereby the Department of Juvenile Justice may make available records in its custody regarding children.

SUBJECT:

The rule addresses the manner in which requests for youth records are received and processed, and the conditions under which various types of youth records are provided to requesting youth, law enforcement, criminal justice agencies, and others authorized to obtain the information.
