	The Florida Public Service Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	November 20, 2007, 9:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Betty Easley Conference Center, Room 148, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32301

Subject:	Docket No. 070660-EI, Application of Florida Power & Light Company for authority to issue and sell securities pursuant to Section 366.04, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 25-8, Florida Administrative Code. The Company seeks PSC approval pursuant to Section 366.04, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 25-8, Florida Administrative Code, to issue and sell, and/or exchange any combination of the long-term debt and equity securities and/or to assume liabilities or obligations as guarantor, endorser, or surety in an aggregate amount not to exceed $6.1 billion during calendar year 2008. In addition, the Company seeks permission to issue and sell short-term securities during the calendar years 2008 and 2009 in an amount or amounts such that the aggregate principal amount of short-term securities outstanding at the time of, and including, any such sale shall not exceed $3.0 billion.
