5F-11.002

Standards of National Fire Protection Association Adopted (Transferred)

PURPOSE:

This rule revision is for the purpose of adopting the 2008 edition of National Fire Protection Association Standard 58, The LP-Gas Code, which dictates the safe storage, handling, use and distribution of propane in Florida.

SUMMARY:

This proposed rule adopts the most recent edition of NFPA 58, The LP-Gas Code, which is the safety standard for propane in Florida. The new edition is updated to address current technical and procedural issues within the industry.
