5M-10.001

Purpose and Applicability (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this notice is to develop standards for agricultural producers to use when land-applying animal manures in the Northern Everglades area. Subsequently, the Department will initiate formal rule making to adopt these measures by rule.

SUBJECT:

The subjects to be addressed are the thresholds for the requirement to develop a conservation or nutrient management plan, requirements for plan approval, and associated recordkeeping requirements necessary for landowners to receive a presumption of compliance with state water quality standards.
