61C-1.001	Definitions
61C-1.004	General Sanitation and Safety Requirements

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment is to simplify adoption of the 2001 Food Code by adopting all applicable parts under the “Food Code” definition and amending, as necessary, other references to the 2001 Food Code in the division’s rules. The proposed rule amendment also improves readability under the plain language initiative.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment adopts the 2001 Food Code under the definition of “Food Code” in Rule 61C-1.001, F.A.C., and amends references to the 2001 Food Code currently found throughout Chapter 61C-1, F.A.C.
