Overview



	The The Florida Department of Health, Division of Health Access and Tobacco announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	June 2, 2008, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

PLACE:	The Grand Ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel, 101 South Adams Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.

Subject:	This is the fourth meeting of an Advisory Council required by Florida Statute 381.84. The council meets four times per year to provide advice to the Department of Health relating to the Comprehensive Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Program. The meeting will provide updates for the council about media, tobacco cessation, and community program contracts which have been awarded since the last meeting. In addition, there will be breakouts of the Youth Programs, Health Communications and Evaluation and Surveillance Subcommittees.
