RULE:

60BB-9.121

Federal Quality Funds (Transferred)

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule development is to adopt a rule substantively similar to federal regulations governing recipients of federal funding through the Child Care and Development Fund. The federal regulations governing recipients of federal funding through the Child Care and Development Fund require that the Agency for Workforce Innovation, as Lead Agency, retain responsibility for administering the program and enumerate the responsibilities of the Agency. Further, the regulations require the Agency to expend no less than four percent of the aggregate funds received through the federal Child Care and Development Fund on quality activities defined by the regulations.
