Overview



	The Financial Services Commission, Office of Insurance Regulation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 9:00 A.M.

PLACE:	401 Senate Office Building, Florida Capitol, Tallahassee, FL

Subject:	State Farm Florida Insurance Company has requested a 47.1 percent overall increase for new and renewal homeowners’ insurance policies, effective December 1, 2008 for new policies and March 1, 2009 for renewal policies. The rate increases are not uniform and some areas are subject to higher rate increases. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from interested parties will be received at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend this public hearing, please forward your comments to ratehearings@fldfs.com. The subject line of your email should read “State Farm Florida.”
