61D-2.002	Toe Grabs (Transferred)

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule will be to implement and interpret Florida Statutes that relate to rules regulating the use of toe grabs and whips at pari-mutuel horseracing facilities.

SUBJECT:

The rule workshop will address whether the Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering should implement the provisions of Section 550.2415, F.S., by adopting the model rule of the Association of Racing Commissioners International regarding toe grabs. The workshop will also address rules regarding the use of a whip in the general rule section.
