Overview



	The Florida Department of Health, Division of Health Access and Tobacco announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	September 8, 2008, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

PLACE:	CORRECTION. Room 301, Building 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32399

Subject:	This is a meeting of the Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Advisory Council required by Florida Statute 381.84. The council meets four times per year to provide advice to the Department of Health relating to the Comprehensive Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Program. The meeting will provide updates for the council about the program’s first year progress, as well as additional information about the media, tobacco cessation, and community program contracts which are underway. There will be additional discussion in the Advisory Council Subcommittee breakout sessions.
