School Principal - Administrative Class

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to allow educators at Florida charter schools to participate in the district school principal development program. Currently, only educators who are employees of the district school board may participate.

SUMMARY:

The current language in the rule inadvertently eliminates educators in Florida’s public charter schools from participating in the district school principal development program. The amendment will allow charter school employees to participate in the district development program.
