Overview



	The Florida Department of Health, Division of Environmental Health, Bureau of Onsite Sewage Programs announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 9, 2008 at 09:30 a.m.

PLACE:	Orlando Airport Marriott 7499 Augusta National Drive Orlando, FL 32822

Subject:	To discuss and guide current, proposed, and potential future onsite sewage research projects. The meeting will specifically discuss Specific Appropriation 1682, which requires the Department of Health to conduct a study to further develop cost-effective nitrogen reduction strategies and to perform an inventory of onsite systems in the State of Florida. The meeting will also review proposals for research projects which may include, depending on the proposals received, the Statewide Inventory of Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems in Florida, the Evaluation of Water Quality Around the Town of Suwannee Florida and Comparison to Historic Data, and/or the Florida Onsite Sewage Nitrogen Reduction Strategies Study.
