Overview



	The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Assessment and Restoration Support, announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 10:00 a.m. (EST)

PLACE:	Department of Environmental Protection, Bob Martinez Center (formerly Twin Towers Office), Room 609, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, FL

Subject:	To present background information and receive public comments on proposed revisions to Chapters 62-302 and 62-303, F.A.C., regarding the revision of human health-based water quality criteria as part of the current Triennial Review of state surface water quality standards. This workshop follows earlier public workshops held on July 23, 2008, July 30, 2008, and September 11, 2008, and will focus solely on the proposed revisions to human health-based water quality criteria in Chapters 62-302, F.A.C., and the establishment of a fish tissue methylmercury criterion in Chapter 62-303, F.A.C. Additional public workshops addressing all surface water quality standards as part of the Triennial Review will be held in the future. A separate Notice of Rule Development for both Chapters 62-302 and 62-303, F.A.C., was published on July 3, 2008, in Volume 34, Number 27 of the Florida Administrative Weekly. This rulemaking, associated with Chapters 62-302 and 62-303, F.A.C., has been given OGC Case Nos. 08-1729 and 08-1730 respectively.
